Well, another incredible weekend of hockey from Abingdon, landing an amazing 13 of 15 available points and putting on a nail-biting, thrilling show for those who were able to get down to the pitch to support.
If you missed any of the action, catch up with our captains’ reports here, and see the incredible pitch-side photography from Gareth Bennett in the albums here.
There are plenty of matches to support at Tilsley this Saturday, with Ladies 2s pushing back at 10:30, Men’s 2s at 12:00, and Men’s 3s at 1:30pm, so do show support for the home sides if you can!
Make sure to sign up on Teamo for the remaining training sessions, matches, and socials for this year! (See more detail on our Christmas social below or in your club calendar).

The Men's 3's remain undefeated this season, however today felt like our toughest challenge yet.
For the first 15 mins we were cruising and scored an early goal - Lee worked hard to keep a ball alive and then crossing the ball to Ric for a nice tap in at the back post.
We played okay for the remainder for the first half, with Tom F winning himself and then putting away a wonderful P Flick - doubling our lead.
Hawks changed things up in the second half and looked far more disciplined in their press, at times we struggled to get the ball out and we were definitely trying to force it a little too much.
Hawks got one back from a nice team goal and tap in and now it felt like back to the walls for the remainder 10 minutes. We could have very nearly scored a third with a wonderful chipped shot from Tom F, which was met by an equally wonderful save from the GK. Despite feeling like we were up against it, Stu C in goal only had 3 saves to make all match and thankfully we held on and the match finished 2-1.
PotM: John Boumphrey (Andy Lister a close runner up)
Goal Scorers: Ric Singleton, Tom Flemming
Assists: Lee Daglish
Ladies 3s 3-1 vs Wootton Wanderers
