CLUB DAY – BRING A FRIEND AND GET INVOLVED!
After the success of last year’s club day, we will be running another one this year! This will take place on SATURDAY AUGUST 21ST so make sure you pop that one into your diaries.
The day will begin at Tilsley Park at 10.30am until 12.30pm, where we will play some friendly hockey. Afterwards we will be moving on to The Brewery Tap in Abingdon for a BBQ (Burgers hot-dogs, salads etc) from 1pm. The club day will then continue in the early evening with a club “pub” quiz, with our very own quiz master Frank!
Everyone is welcome – family / friends etc, and the theme this year is: BRING A FRIEND! There will be a small charge attached to the day, but this will only just cover our costs, depending on how many people are able to come it looks like it will be in the range of £5 per head for 2 hours hockey, a BBQ and a quiz.
Last year was just brilliant fun and it is a great chance, not only to introduce new people to the club but also for members to meet other members and rekindle that club spirit!
